About

If the World Bank reports that the global account ownership in the next Global Findex release is above 82%, then the market resolves to Yes. The Underlying is the percentage reported for “World” under the World Bank indicator “Account ownership at a financial institution or with a mobile-money-service provider (% of population ages 15+),” series code FX.OWN.TOTL.ZS, for the earliest reference year after 2024. The Underlying will be rounded to the nearest 0.1 percentage point. If the Underlying is exactly halfway between two values, it will be rounded to the value farther from zero. Revisions to the 2024 observation will not qualify. If the World Bank changes the name, presentation, series code, or publication location without materially changing what the indicator measures, the corresponding successor series may be used.

Bonds.
“Bonds” shall refer to corporate debt securities and U.S. government securities offered on the Public platform through a self-directed brokerage account held at Public Investing and custodied at Apex Clearing. For purposes of this section, Bonds exclude treasury securities held in treasury accounts with Jiko Securities, Inc. as explained under the “ Treasury Accounts” section.

Investments in Bonds are subject to various risks including risks related to interest rates, credit quality, market valuations, liquidity, prepayments, early redemption, corporate events, tax ramifications and other factors. The value of Bonds fluctuate and any investments sold prior to maturity may result in gain or loss of principal. In general, when interest rates go up, Bond prices typically drop, and vice versa.
