Jason founded Marqeta in 2010, leading the company through several iterations of business models before landing on a first-of-its-kind open API platform which allows businesses to control how their digital payments are authorized. Through its API platform, Marqeta powers customizable credit and debit card solutions for companies like DoorDash, Square, Brex, and InstaCart.
Headquartered in California, Marqeta is enabled across the US and in 36 countries globally. The company made its public debut on the Nasdaq in June of 2021.
