Meet Avishai Abrahami, co-founder and CEO of the website builder Wix.com.

Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Tel Aviv, the Israeli software company provides cloud-based web development services that allow users to create desktop and mobile sites through drag and drop tools.

Wix operates via a freemium business model, generating revenue through premium user upgrades that include third-party plug-ins, ecommerce capabilities, and SEO tools. The company offers a range of customizable website templates and tools to support businesses, from booking systems for restaurants and hotels to online stores for direct-to-consumer brands.

Wix made its public debut in 2013 and has since acquired several companies, including the mCommerce startup Appixia and online restaurant ordering system developer OpenRest. Avishai has led as CEO for more than a decade.
