(Nasdaq:SKIS) (“Peak Resorts” or the “Company”), a leading owner and operator of high-quality, individually branded U.S. ski resorts, today announced that the Company’s shareholders, at a special meeting held today (the “Special Meeting”), approved the merger agreement for the acquisition of the Company by Vail Resorts, Inc. (NYSE: MTN) (“Vail Resorts”). Under the terms of the merger agreement, Peak Resorts’ common shareholders will be entitled to receive $11.00 per share in cash at the closing of the acquisition. The transaction is expected to close on or about September 24, 2019.
