IART Analyst Ratings
Bulls say
Integra Lifesciences is viewed positively because its cash generation improved sharply in 3Q, with operating cash flow of $96M and free cash flow of $86M, while debt repayment of $46M reduced net debt to about $1.5B and leverage to 3.8x. The $2.1B refinancing closed Oct 19 extends maturities, adds covenant headroom, and supports a clearer deleveraging path, with management expecting leverage to move just above the 2.5-3.5x target range by year-end and inside it during 2027. Despite flood-related revenue pressure and softer Tissue Reconstruction, the stock appears undervalued at about 5x P/E on 2027 EPS of $2.37, while Neurosurgery growth of 4% to 7% organically and product momentum in CereLink, Certas Plus, and DuraSeal support the longer-term outlook.
Bears say
Integra Lifesciences is facing a fundamentally weaker operating profile because the Cincinnati flood, prior product ship holds, and recall-related disruptions are pressuring revenue, gross profit, and execution credibility. FY26 guidance was reiterated at $1.634-1.654B of revenue and $2.30-2.40 in adjusted EPS, but flat gross margin and EBITDA, plus about $0.10 of tariff impact and higher interest expense, limit near-term earnings leverage. While management sees 2026-27 growth drivers, the stock deserves a cautious view because uncertainty around customer re-adoption, remediation risk, and a roughly 20% EBITDA margin versus peers near 29% still point to structural underperformance.
