DMRA Analyst Ratings
Bulls say
Damora Therapeutics is attractive because DMR-001 targets a highly underserved mutant calreticulin market in ET and MF with a potentially subtype-agnostic profile, including activity across Type 1 and Type 2 mutations and a projected once-monthly subcutaneous autoinjector that could be more convenient than competing Q2W IV or on-body approaches. The company also appears financially de-risked, with $540.5MM in cash and equivalents at the end of 2Q26 expected to fund operations into 2H29, covering the mid-2027 proof-of-concept readouts and potentially the start of Phase 3 as early as mid-2028. Beyond DMR-001, DMR-002 and DMR-003 provide additional shots on goal, while the broader anti-mutCALR franchise could benefit from emerging regulatory precedent and the clinical case for earlier intervention in myelofibrosis.
Bears say
Damora Therapeutics is facing a structurally difficult competitive setup, as INCA033989 appears to hold a 2-3 year head start over DMR-001, raising the risk that the addressable mutCALR population is captured before Damora can generate meaningful clinical data. Execution risk is also elevated because IND delays, SC manufacturing issues, slower Ph 1 enrollment, or additional IND-enabling requests could push the POC readout beyond mid-2027, extending the pre-revenue period and limiting investor confidence. Fundamentally, the company is targeting a market where Jakafi’s safety and persistence shortcomings create opportunity, but that does not offset the chance that DMR-001 is late, less efficacious, or faces unforeseen safety issues in a field with new competitors emerging.
