ANGX Analyst Ratings
Bulls say
Angel Studios is supported by a differentiated, community-driven model that has already attracted 3M+ paying members, up 88% Y/Y, while still penetrating only a small slice of the 130M+ U.S. households and 90%+ SVOD market. The business is showing improving fundamentals through lower selling and marketing intensity at 51.9% of revenue YTD, positive 1H OCF of $18.8M, and a building cash position, while revenue is expected to rise to $515.5M in 2026 and $640.0M in 2027. Its content pipeline also appears to be expanding meaningfully, with about 1,500 titles today and a plan to double the title count in 2026, which should support continued Guild growth, retention, and monetization.
Bears say
Angel Studios is operating in a fiercely competitive and fast-changing video entertainment market, where rivals can quickly erode audience attention, creator relationships, and monetization. Its fundamentals also look weak because it has a long record of losses, including net losses of $14M in FY22 and $87M in FY24, and it reported net losses in every period prior to FY20. The negative outlook is further supported by recurring legal disputes, including breach-of-contract accusations in 2025 and 2023–2024, plus a 2016 Disney copyright suit that preceded Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
