Invested in Amazon
This morning I asked a question 馃憞 https://public.com/p/JYnpfnXUo4GHZxb8M4XRmoYpm4NvYSOH But since I obviously can鈥檛 vote on my own poll , I figured I鈥檒l give my opinion here 馃槀馃ぃ Despite my predilection for dollar cost averaging every day ( #dcaeveryday ), I personally think a Biweekly or Monthly DCA is the sweet spot for me. I can鈥檛 choose one over the other because It really depends on how volatile the stock is. If the stock is constantly moving (in either direction) that鈥檚 a stock that I鈥檇 like to invest small quantities into as often as possible BUT If the stock isn鈥檛 that volatile, I鈥檓 more likely to invest larger sums of money less frequently. My daily $1 investments into Amazon is an extreme example, metaphorically speaking, it鈥檚 like 鈥渢rying to eat an elephant鈥 馃悩 When trying to do something as absurd as eating a whole elephant it鈥檚 best to take the advice of Italian monk, Saint Francis of Assisi: 鈥淪tart by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.鈥https://theintrovertentrepreneur.com/2010/04/21/how-to-eat-an-elephant/ My elephant is a $3,000 stock ( $AMZN ). In order to purchase a whole share of Amazon stock i quickly realized that it was necessary to start investing as soon as possible. I could have sold all of my other stocks and purchased Amazon or emptied my savings account and purchased a share but that wasn鈥檛 wise. Instead of putting all of my eggs 馃 in the $AMZN basket 馃Ш, I did the next best thing. I broke that investment into smaller chunks and discovered that investing $1 today was very possible After I invested my first dollar, I kept investing 1 dollar a day, and eventually I realized two things. 1锔忊儯 I realized that I was doing the impossible. 2锔忊儯 I realized that it would take me 11 years to do what I thought was impossible #pocketchangeinvestments

Investors should consider the investment objectives and unique risk profile of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) carefully before investing. ETFs are subject to risks similar to those of other diversified portfolios. Leveraged and Inverse ETFs may not be suitable for all investors and may increase exposure to volatility through the use of leverage, short sales of securities, derivatives and other complex investment strategies.

Although ETFs are designed to provide investment results that generally correspond to the performance of their respective underlying indices, they may not be able to exactly replicate the performance of the indices because of expenses and other factors. A prospectus contains this and other information about the ETF and should be read carefully before investing. Customers should obtain prospectuses from issuers and/or their third party agents who distribute and make prospectuses available for review. ETFs are required to distribute portfolio gains to shareholders at year-end. These gains may be generated by portfolio rebalancing or the need to meet diversification requirements. ETF trading will also generate tax consequences. Additional regulatory guidance on Exchange Traded Products can be found by clicking here.
