Park Electrochemical (PKE) Analyst Ratings
Bulls say
Park Aerospace is supported by strong demand in both commercial aerospace and defense, with FQ1’27 sales up 18.9% to $18.3MM, gross margin expanding to 34.8%, and adjusted EBITDA rising 54% to $4.58MM. Its outlook is strengthened by customer concentration in high-quality programs such as GE Aerospace and missile systems, including a 26% increase in Commercial Aircraft revenue, 16% Military growth, and a backlog that more than doubled to $51.4MM. The company also has a debt-free balance sheet with $89.4MM in cash, ongoing dividend discipline, and new capacity plans in Tulsa and the Midwest that should support mid-to-high double-digit growth and margin expansion.
Bears say
Park Aerospace is facing a negative setup because its near-term growth is constrained by uneven end-market demand and execution risk, including zero RAYCARB C2B fabric sales in the quarter and another 11% y/o/y decline in Business Aircraft sales to about $1.1MM. The company is also reliant on a still-unproven capacity solution for PAC-3-related demand, even as it commits $25MM in advance payments through 2027 and waits on a definitive agreement targeted by year-end, which raises execution and capital-allocation risk. Although defense stockpile replenishment and missile-capacity expansion could help, the stock remains vulnerable to weaker gross margins, customer quality issues, and slower spending if commercial or defense demand softens.
