AIRJ Analyst Ratings
Bulls say
AirJoule Technologies is viewed positively because its pressure-swing platform meaningfully lowers the heat requirement for regeneration, with management citing roughly 60°C–70°C versus 120°C–150°C for conventional desiccant systems and Prime energy use below 160 Wh/L on low-grade waste heat. Commercial validation is advancing through Kubota’s purchase of two Core systems, a planned European Prime deployment, and Core DH trials, while the company’s addressable markets span dehumidification, atmospheric water generation, and water-constrained data centers. The outlook is further supported by improving unit economics as MOF costs fell from about $5,000/kg to below $100/kg, though execution, third-party validation, and margin performance remain the key proof points as Newark supports production through 2027 before contract manufacturing is expected to scale volumes in 2028.
Bears say
AirJoule Technologies is viewed negatively because demand visibility remains weak, with no disclosed order book and most commercial relationships still limited to pilots, evaluations, or early-stage channel agreements, making conversion risk high. The business model also adds financing and reporting complexity: revenue from the venture does not flow through AIRJ’s reported revenue line, the $263.5MM carrying value is not usable cash, and AIRJ has already committed up to $90.0MM while carrying most ongoing funding burden. Although the technology shows energy advantages, the company still lacks scaled proof of field performance, manufacturing economics, supply-chain resilience, and competitive durability against entrenched desiccant and refrigerant systems.
