Thought I'd do a deep look into the world of #spacs and see what are floating out there. For those that dont know what a SPAC is - a SPAC is a special acquisition company looking to take companies public or merge and take public. List of SPACs (this is a long list but full of interesting ones) 🔽 $AAC - ran by Ares Management, also has the former CEO of Hertz and GM as an advisor. $AACOU - a media SPAC with the former CEO of AOL, former CEO of Hulu, and Troy Carter involved. $AAQC - industry spac with former CEO of $HD , former Vice Chair of $GE and so forth. $ACAM - spac ran by former CEO of Gucci and former Vice Chair of Neiman Marcuz $ACAQ - tech spac with the former Chair and CEO of USA Network) $ACIC - taking Archer Aviation public. $ACDI - entertainment spac with creator of Runescap, former COO of Quibi, etc. $ADER - gaming, consumer, lodging, entertainment SPAC. $AGCB - this spac company also has $AGC . $AGGR - spac with former CEO of Yahoo, former CEO of Blackboard, and others. $ALCC - spac ran by chairman of Y Combinator and Michael Klein of Churchill Capital $ANAC - sports spac with former CEO of $MSG , former pres. of Ticketmaster, etc $APGB - ran by $APO $ARGU - media spac ran by former CEO of CBS, and former CEO of $VIAC digital. $BCTA - spac ran by Eduardo Sauervin (co-fndr of Facebook), and Bruce Aust - the former Vice Chair of $NDAQ . $BGSX - SaaS spac ran by former COO of Facebook and former CEO of Rackspace. $BLEU - spac ran by former Chair and CEO of $TPR , Lew Frankfort (fmr CEO of Coach) and also the former CEO of $LB is advising. $BLTS - spac made by Peter Guber, Allen Shapiro, Mark Shapiro (fmr pres of $EDR $BLUA - Tech and media spac made with the former Chair of $LYV , Anne Farlow from $PSTH , among others. $BOWX - WeWork 👀 $BSAQ - entertainment spac with Chair of $NCLH , and Rob Moore (fmr VC of Paramount and former CEO of Walt Dis. Treasuries.
U.S. Treasuries (“T-Bill“) investing services on the Public Platform are offered by Jiko Securities, Inc. (“JSI”), a registered broker-dealer and member of FINRA & SIPC. JSI uses funds from your Treasury Account to purchase T-bills in increments of $100 “par value” (the T-bill’s value at maturity). T-bills are purchased at a discount to the par value and the T-bill’s yield represents the difference in price between the “par value” and the “discount price.” Aggregate funds in your Treasury Account in excess of the T-bill purchases will remain in your Treasury Account as cash. The value of T-bills fluctuate and investors may receive more or less than their original investments if sold prior to maturity.
