We’re doing some system maintenance
Do you play more than one game? Such as purchasing potential long term, quality, companies and rolling those smaller profits into other long term plays, such as value based and/or dividend stocks in preparation to hold 7-15+ years—or do you prefer to keep those profits, and reinvest after 3 days or so, to take a potential small losses to mitigate short term gains? I suppose the question is, what is everybody else’s hybrid #strategy? If there is one that you happen to utilize. I’m always a fan of the dividend investor-they usually have more patience mixed with some good ole equanimity. After much trial and error, success and emotions.. I prefer buying long term plays, regardless of what strategy I am using-whether I hold for 5-10 years, or 5-10 minutes. Not worried about the long haul… because WHEN-not-IF, things don’t go as planned for a small #swing I’ll be able to keep growing and do something else with my life besides staring at charts—like researching the companies that I am investing in, or plan on investing in. Large cap doesn’t necessary mean less emotional volatility, but it keeps you from the highs that can potentially lead to psychologically low places. This isn’t as much a game of technical analysis (maybe a little quantitative and qualitative analysis) As it is a game of #psychology and #endurance #strategyiskey
