Anyone here use #crypto.com to invest in cryptocurrency or are familiar with the platform?... I made an account 2 days ago and right away I invested in 500,000.00 in #shiba.. I had no problem with that transaction. Then about an hour ago I got another hundred thousand in#shiba.. everything worked out with that transaction also period. However I tried to stake some #cro which is their coin... The first time I tried an error message popped up. So I tried it again thinking it was just a fluke, but the second time trying I got the very same exact message... So I looked on the Google comments about crypto.com and there was maybe 5 out of a thousand comments that were good all of the rest were complaining about not being able to invest when they want to among a bunch of different other things. What should I do from here

Send to a wallet or exchange you feel more comfortable with.i have had no issues with Crypto.com I just bought a hundred of their coins on their app no problems yet I have not staked any of their coins or any other coins. But if you're not happy with that exchange move it to another exchange or just put it into a wallet that you are comfortable with

@Tahzco thanks for getting back to me.. I went with #crypto.com instead of #coinbase.. I'm sorry it took me 6 days to get back to you but anyway I bought roughly $50 worth of #shibainu , that came out to 800,000 of #Shiba.. the one thing about crypto.com that is frustrating is the fact that you cannot just click on the #crypto you want to buy and type in $100 for the amount you want to spend.. it's acSee more

@Tahzco do you understand what I'm talking about? I don't know if I'm doing something the wrong way.. so I literally had to mess around with the Bitcoin amount until I got it close to $100. it came out to .001477 of #bitcoin to get it to close $100.

I believe there's a link or some other type of crypto calculator that helps with that. I've had the same issue. I usually just try to get close and let it round up a bit. I've done quite well with Crypto.com

I do I thought I was the only one lol

I hated that app honestly. Was to hard to transfer funds and to withdraw. Since I don't get bills in the mail to send them a picture of they wouldn't confirm my address so I couldn't get my money back. Ended up using my crypto to buy a Amazon gift card on the app. Now I'm only using public.
Eric Urban photo
@mikedebruce I think I saw the crypto calculator that you were talking about... I want to download an app that unless you put all of your wallets in one place even if you have wallets in several different crypto platforms.. somebody told me to use cointracker.ioapparently you can import all of your crypto wallets In to it and it will also show you the gains and losses you're at instead of having tSee more

@yellowsclub when I first download it and crypto.comit was working great for the first 3 weeks but now it's freezing up on me all the time and kicking me off... @yellowsclub your going to purchase your crypto on public??.. The fees are very high buying crypto on public because it has to go through Apex crypto and Apex clearing... If I were you I would think that through a little bit and see the other options out there there are many crypto platforms for just investing in crypto.. I use public for investing in the stock market, I bought a little bit of cardSee more

@exotichords right now im just investing in Shiba for crypto. I would like to buy crypto.com coin but I'd rather not use their app anymore. I felt like there were to many hoops yo jump through. And yeah the fees were stacking up. Any app you recommend?
Eric Urban photo
@yellowsclub honestly I downloaded crypto.com by mistake. I was trying to download coinbase but I forgot the name and downloaded and signed up for crypto.com... judging by Google search of crypto.com versus coinbase, crypto.com easily outranks coinbase in pretty much every single category. https://www.investopedia.com/crypto-com-vs-coinbase-5188428See more
Eric Urban photo
@yellowsclub but like I said there are a number of crypto investing/trading platforms.. binance is more geared towards investors with more investing experience and make larger transactions and unfortunately in the link I sent you, you will see that crypto.com has the lowest rates of any known crypto platform out there
Y
@exotichords ok thanks for the info!!
Eric Urban photo
@yellowsclub make sure u check out the crypto.com versus coinbase article I sent.. here it is again https://www.investopedia.com/crypto-com-vs-coinbase-5188428 there are a lot of crypto platforms but they all seem to have way higher fees and are not as transparent as crypto.com
Eric Urban photo
@yellowsclub no problem good luck

@Tahzco crypto.comis starting to grow on me. The only complaint I have right now is that it has been freezing a lot and sometimes kicking me off when I want to make a purchase.. and it has been putting out a lot of updates that you have to upload.. it seems with each upload the freezing and lagging have gotten worse... I'm sure they will fix it... So right now I don't think I want to change platfoSee more

Better check ur bank account, whenever I get that message it actually goes through it just sends that message I don't know why because last time I did that I got that message and then I checked my bank account and the funds were taken out and then I refresh the app and it showed where I bought it
Eric Urban photo
@bobbywood2 that is not good. Because what if somebody tries it five more times thinking it's not going through but it really is... Sketch... I'm also getting forced to update it seems like twice a week at least... With each update crypto.com platform seems to underperform with freezing and lagging

Speaking of Crypto.com you guys know that staple center is going to be renamed Crypto.com arena right? And have you guys felt the Drastically immense climb on the $cro coin. Kind of mad I sold at $.15 However I did get in at two cents so still profit!!!
Brandon photo
Honestly when it comes to keeping your points safe keep a total number written on a notepad or in your phone in notes. And get a cold storage device keep all your coins on the Cold storage device that way you can never get hacked ever
Eric Urban photo
@namlesface I had no idea that they were changing the Staples center name to crypto.com arena... I was wondering why my cro has been going off like crazy the past week or more.. I actually just checked my crypto.comand Cro is currently at +$28.72... Have still yet to totally grasp the whole investing in Cro for my benefits... I haven't staked any Cro.. I only use Crypto.com and I own 2,000,000 shares of Shiba but after I bought it I somehow had 2,100,000
Brandon photo
@exotichords Basically you wouldn’t even have to steak it all you have to do is buy Crypto.com currency which is a.k.a. CRO. The last time I checked the price of each crow coin it was $.84. I sold when it hit $.20 how bummed do you think I am
Brandon photo
Really the only benefit for the crow coin is supposedly alleviating transaction fees notice when you trade crypto‘s back-and-forth there’s no cost on Crypto.com. Even if you are to just sell it and turn it into a Fiat currency. There’s a minimal fee unlike Coinbase that uses a $.99 fee basically no matter what if you’re selling three dollars worth of Cardona, you lose a dollar
Eric Urban photo
@namlesface thanks for the info on Cro...I have some Cro..not a whole lot..but out of my crypto portfolio Cro is always +. Today it was at +23%... Going to keep slowly adding to it when it dips...my sandbox was +43%... those 2 and decentraland are usually always my top 3.. Usually way up in the plus.
Eric Urban photo
@namlesface yeah I have done my homework on some of the different crypto platforms and as far as coinbase and crypto.com go, crypto.com has way less fees than coinbase and some crypto.com transactions are no fee compared to coin bases where there's always some type of fee it seems so I am riding with I keep all of my cryptocurrencies and the regular crypto.comSee more

@exotichords however you can transfer all of your crypto that’s on Crypto.com onto a cold storage device or offsite wallet without a problem you just hit the transfer button and it does everything once you put in the address for the new wallet just make sure you have a wallet for each and every different crypto. Options.
Certain requirements must be met in order to trade options. Options can be risky and are not suitable for all investors. Options transactions are often complex, and investors can rapidly lose the entire amount of their investment or more in a short period of time. Investors should consider their investment objectives and risks carefully before investing in options. Refer to the Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options before considering any options transaction. Supporting documentation for any claims, if applicable, will be furnished upon request. Tax considerations with options transactions are unique and investors considering options should consult their tax advisor as to how taxes affect the outcome of each options strategy.

If you are enrolled in our Options Order Flow Rebate Program, Public Investing will share a percentage of our estimated order flow revenue for each completed options trade as a rebate to help reduce your trading costs. Rebate rates vary monthly from $0.06-$0.18 and depend on your current and prior month’s options trading volume. This rebate will be deducted from your cost to place the trade and will be reflected on your trade confirmation. Bonds.
“Bonds” shall refer to corporate debt securities and U.S. government securities offered on the Public platform through a self-directed brokerage account held at Public Investing and custodied at Apex Clearing. For purposes of this section, Bonds exclude treasury securities held in treasury accounts with Jiko Securities, Inc. as explained under the “ Treasury Accounts” section.

Investments in Bonds are subject to various risks including risks related to interest rates, credit quality, market valuations, liquidity, prepayments, early redemption, corporate events, tax ramifications and other factors. The value of Bonds fluctuate and any investments sold prior to maturity may result in gain or loss of principal. In general, when interest rates go up, Bond prices typically drop, and vice versa. Bonds with higher yields or offered by issuers with lower credit ratings generally carry a higher degree of risk. All fixed income securities are subject to price change and availability, and yield is subject to change. Bond ratings, if provided, are third party opinions on the overall bond's credit worthiness at the time the rating is assigned. Ratings are not recommendations to purchase, hold, or sell securities, and they do not address the market value of securities or their suitability for investment purposes.

A Bond Account is a self-directed brokerage account with Public Investing. Deposits into this account are used to purchase 10 investment-grade and high-yield bonds. The Bond Account’s yield is the average, annualized yield to worst (YTW) across all ten bonds in the Bond Account, before fees. A bond’s yield is a function of its market price, which can fluctuate; therefore a bond’s YTW is not “locked in” until the bond is purchased, and your yield at time of purchase may be different from the yield shown here. The “locked in” YTW is not guaranteed; you may receive less than the YTW of the bonds in the Bond Account if you sell any of the bonds before maturity or if the issuer defaults on the bond. Public Investing charges a markup on each bond trade. See our Fee Schedule.

Bond Accounts are not recommendations of individual bonds or default allocations. The bonds in the Bond Account have not been selected based on your needs or risk profile. You should evaluate each bond before investing in a Bond Account. The bonds in your Bond Account will not be rebalanced and allocations will not be updated, except for Corporate Actions.

Fractional Bonds also carry additional risks including that they are only available on Public and cannot be transferred to other brokerages. Read more about the risks associated with fixed income and fractional bonds. See Bond Account Disclosures to learn more.

High-Yield Cash Account.
A High-Yield Cash Account is a secondary brokerage account with Public Investing. Funds in your High-Yield Cash Account are automatically deposited into partner banks (“Partner Banks”), where that cash earns interest and is eligible for FDIC insurance. See here for a list of current Partner Banks. Your Annual Percentage Yield is variable and may change at the discretion of the Partner Banks or Public Investing. Apex Clearing and Public Investing receive administrative fees for operating this program, which reduce the amount of interest paid on swept cash. Neither Public Investing nor any of its affiliates is a bank. Learn more.

Cryptocurrency.
Cryptocurrency trading, execution, and custody services are provided by Bakkt Crypto Solutions, LLC (NMLS ID 1828849) (“Bakkt”). Cryptocurrency is highly speculative, involves a high degree of risk, and has the potential for loss of the entire amount of an investment. Cryptocurrencies offered by Bakkt are not securities and are not FDIC insured or protected by SIPC. Your cryptocurrency assets are held in your Bakkt account. Bakkt is a licensed virtual currency business by the New York State Department of Financial Services and a licensed money transmitter, but is not a registered broker-dealer or a FINRA member. Your Bakkt Crypto account is separate from your brokerage account with Public Investing, which holds US-listed stocks and ETFs. Please review the Risk Disclosures before trading.

Treasury Accounts.
Investing services in treasury accounts offering 6 month US Treasury Bills on the Public platform are through Jiko Securities, Inc. (“JSI”), a registered broker-dealer and member of FINRA & SIPC. See JSI’s FINRA BrokerCheck and Form CRS for further information. JSI uses funds from your Treasury Account to purchase T-bills in increments of $100 “par value” (the T-bill’s value at maturity). T-bills are purchased at a discount to the par value and the T-bill’s yield represents the difference in price between the “par value” and the “discount price.” Aggregate funds in your Treasury Account in excess of the T-bill purchases will remain in your Treasury Account as cash. The value of T-bills fluctuate and investors may receive more or less than their original investments if sold prior to maturity. T-bills are subject to price change and availability - yield is subject to change. Past performance is not indicative of future performance. Investments in T-bills involve a variety of risks, including credit risk, interest rate risk, and liquidity risk. As a general rule, the price of a T-bills moves inversely to changes in interest rates. Although T-bills are considered safer than many other financial instruments, you could lose all or a part of your investment. See Jiko U.S. Treasuries Risk Disclosures for further details.

Investments in T-bills: Not FDIC Insured; No Bank Guarantee; May Lose Value.

Banking services and bank accounts are offered by Jiko Bank, a division of Mid-Central National Bank. JSI and Jiko Bank are not affiliated with Public Holdings, Inc. (“Public”) or any of its subsidiaries. None of these entities provide legal, tax, or accounting advice. You should consult your legal, tax, or financial advisors before making any financial decisions.
