Invested in Arqit Quantum Inc
Another good application of quantum tech. Cyber security. #cybersecurity #quantum #quantumcomputers #quantumcomputing #technologies
Invested in IonQ
#Maryland company - gotta rep the set. Also #quantumcomputers I just love so much. This company has been successful in its research - IonQ Aria achieved 20 algorithmic Qubits in Feb which was a pretty big deal for the industry. They are also partnering with Hyundai Motors (because of their knowledge of lithium batteries) to build an “advanced battery chemistry model” (EV Battery) Kia and Bill Gates have also invested in $IONQ Quantum computers (as opposed to traditional/digital computers) manipulate the properties of subatomic particles to perform calculations and simulations. So instead of using transistors that represent either 1 or 0 - they use “Qubits”- which can represent 1 and 0 at the same time. Allegedly, a quantum computer’s power grows exponentially in relation to the # of qubits linked together (as opposed to digital computers which power increases in direct 1:1 relation to how many transistors they have) This allows the quantum computers to solve complex problems even the most powerful supercomputers today will never be able to solve. They are better suited for tasks like optimization problems, data analysis, and simulations-because they can handle the complexity and ambiguity of real worlds systems that would overwhelm digital computers. (Photosynthesis, simulations molecular formations/chemical reactions for drug development, balancing risk of investment portfolios, breaking encryption codes, artificial intelligence/machine learning, etc.) $IBM I think is the industry leader for quantum computers - but this one is cheaper. Most of the leading tech companies are dabbling in quantum computers to be honest like $MSFT $NVDA $GOOG $GOOGL $HON $AMZN $BABA Anyways I just like this company and want to see it do so so well. 🤗💻
#My5XYZ #QuantumComputers So I have this week off and I decided to learn about things that I have zero clue about but have heard chatter about for some time now. This episode will be talking about Quantum Computers but the hope is that next few episodes in My 5 XYZ will walk you through some other interesting topics such as 5G, Cyber Security, and maybe AI. I am also exploring edge computing and IntSee more
