If you read the latest AMC SEC report than you saw trading volume ranged from 23 million shares to 1.2 billion shares. The BDR program insists AMCs entire float is being staked in Brazil. I've been researching the mechanisms and trading dynamics used today. I have come to the conclusion that short selling has become a weapon used to control and manipulate price. If market makers who are also hedge funds are keeping a stock from rising they are essentially selling short shares against bought shares automatically doubling the daily trading volume-->if the entire float has been bought then the algorithms end up creating an imaginary float that should not exist and is supposed to be ILLEGAL. We saw AMC's float get traded 3 times over when AMC hit $72. Consider the following. Retail owned 80% of the float in June, short positions remain open, and we clearly see that there are at the very least 513 million synthetic shares circulating in the stock market diminishing AMCs price and diluting its value. I am holding because these crooks screwed themselves while they were trying to screw average every day people during a pandemic, I mean the way they short sellers operate is wrong in general because they dont go after problematic and fraudulent companies-they attack companies with weak minded investors, or companies that are considered RISK-FREE investments.
