#dripstudy Well, I'm sad to say I will not be continuing the DRIP study. I am a huge advocate of DRIP, however I need to directly manage reinvesting my divs for a bit. With such a wide range of yields my portfolio has started becoming lopsided and I need to adjust it. Treasuries.

When you enable T-Bill investing on the Public platform, you open a separate brokerage account with JSI (the β€œTreasury Accountβ€œ).

JSI uses funds from your Treasury Account to purchase T-bills in increments of $100 β€œpar value” (the T-bill’s value at maturity). T-bills are purchased at a discount to the par value and the T-bill’s yield represents the difference in price between the β€œpar value” and the β€œdiscount price.” Aggregate funds in your Treasury Account in excess of the T-bill purchases will remain in your Treasury Account as cash.
