Meet Joe Berchtold, President and CFO of global entertainment company Live Nation Entertainment.

Originally formed in 1996, the events operator and promoter now known as Live Nation was spun off of its parent company and began trading on the NYSE in 2005. Live Nation merged with ticketing company Ticketmaster in 2010 to become Live Nation Entertainment, which is now the world’s largest live events promoter and ticket seller.

In addition to promoting, operating, and managing ticket sales for live entertainment in the US and internationally, the company owns and operates entertainment venues, manages musical artists, and produces content through its film and TV division. Live Nation Entertainment has also acquired a stake in several festivals and festival management companies, including Voodoo and Bonnaroo.

Joe joined Live Nation in 2011, and has served as its President since 2017. He assumed the role of CFO this past May.
