While #Fidelity is privately owned — they have been crashing it for years! A good bit of folks favor them for retirement and mutual funds. Well — they are boosting even more the sector I love… #blockchain. I talked during Portfolio Pulse yesterday. With the launch of #FidelityStack, and I had a spidey suspension this was coming next! ( What this new offer is would allow investors to learn more about #NFTs and #Metaverse via their plot on $MANA . Also, they are beefing up their #ETFs offers for both. I love the education aspect of it. I called out about this sector that each brand ‘verse will look/feel/be different while pull influence from other. I love the building stack aspect. Now, they are offering 401K investors access to bitcoin via their plans. Becoming the first major Retirement Plan provider to offer it. The crypto offering will be available for 23,000 employers that use Fidelity to administer their retirement accounts by mid-year 2022. With $11.3 trillion in assets under administration, Fidelity is the nation's largest retirement-plan provider and its decision could make crypto even more popular and mainstream. The #BitcoinIRA isn’t a new thing to Retirement, it’s been around a while — but we are starting to see more and more offerings of #cryptocurrency within Retirement Accounts. My thoughts? Just as Large Cap Funds can shift in value, so can Solana or Bitcoin — the shift can happen in a second vs a day or so. I’m intrigued to see the fees and how the plans will be structured. More than likely there will a cap on contributions. More about this fund — •Investors can use their 401k savings to invest in $BTC •Max cap expected to be 20% •Fee range .75% to .90% (which is a solid range for retirement funds. I used to do product marketing for annuities, so I can double down about this. • Will be held on own custody platform. This will major for investors as crypto matures. I’ve seen reports of other providers doing this. I do think that fund managers will lean and offer up smart provisions to maintain a smart diversification to investors’ accounts. Probably nothing. What are your thoughts about both #FidelityStack on $MANA and the $BTC access to their retirement accounts? #retirement #educationforall #possibilities #longterm #futurefocused #learning #learningandgrowing
