Should pot be legalized federally in the US? Canada’s marijuana market is estimated to be about $7 billion, which means $SHOP (Shopify) already has the potential to start making a tidy profit through recreational cannabis sales, in addition to billions of interactions the platform handles each year . But what about the $50 billion legal cannabis industry that experts are projecting for the U.S.? Although it may take time before we see pot legalized federally in the U.S., there are many reasons to believe that we aren’t as far away as many people think. That could make now a great time to invest in cannabis. We’re just not seeing the same level of generalized negativity around pot anymore. Attitudes are changing, and people are opening up to marijuana. #buythedip #shopify
